10 Real Meanings Behind WWE Superstar Tattoos
8. Edge
The 'Rated-R Superstar' has a variety of tats which all represent a stage in his career. He previously explained that when his wrestling career ended, he wanted a story to tell on his body.
The most obvious example of this is the cross on Edge's left forearm, a throwback to the beginning of his WWE career when he was a member of the infamous Brood. His right bicep contains several stars and a couple of bandana-wearing skulls; according to him this is an homage to old school, classic tattoos, and embodies his persona as "the Guns N' Roses of wrestling".
Finally, his red and black sun shoulder ink serves several purposes; he got it to cover an old tattoo of a muscular shark from the TV show Street Sharks, but it mainly represents looking forward to brighter days whilst he recovered from a neck injury.
