10 Real Wrestler Names 100% Cooler Than Their Ring Names

3. Butch (Peter England)

Pete Dunne was never the flashiest name in the game, but it must've been alarming for the ex-'Bruiserweight' when he learned that WWE higher-ups thought he should share names with one of The Bushwhackers. So, overnight, Dunne was out and Butch was very much in.

The man's talent has enabled him to offset such nonsense and become a key figure in the Brawling Brutes alongside mentor Sheamus and partner Ridge Holland. When he inevitably breaks free from that group and strikes out on his own, the E could do a lot worse than rethinking Pete as a snooty heel.

If so, just use his real name: Peter England.

That'd be heel 101, especially if "Mr. England" was the kind who ripped opponents apart with technical wizardry in-ring then acted like he was above everyone else outside it. Basically, he'd be an English version of GUNTHER then. That's fine. Peter England sounds like the name of a Rik Mayall character.
