10 Reasons Brock Lesnar Must Have A Long WWE Title Reign

The longer the reign, the bigger the payoff.

Brock Lesnar's destruction of John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam was unlike any ever witnessed by WWE fans. For the first time in his Hall of Fame career, Super Cena did not have a comeback or an answer for the big bad and was thoroughly demolished. Never before had a WWE Championship match been as one-sided as Lesnar's victory over WWE's franchise player and fans in Los Angeles were left stunned by the turn of events they had witnessed. Just 24 hours after the historic beating, the Beast Incarnate accepted the brand new heavyweight title and Paul Heyman delivered a goosebumps-inducing inaugural address. The biggest question surrounding Lesnar's monumental title victory is regarding its length. Is this a title reign that will last months or one that will end at Night of Champions, when Cena is granted his inevitable return match? For the sake of the company, its revolutionary television network, the championship itself and the health of long-term booking, it would be in the best interest of WWE Creative to take their time, let Lesnar run with the title and reap the rewards when interest is peaked as a result. There are many reasons for Lesnar to have a lengthy WWE World Heavyweight Championship run, the least of which revolve around the potential matchups awaiting him at the top of the card. What are the other reasons for the former UFC star to reign over the sports-entertainment landscape for longer than a month? Take a look for yourself by clicking the little next button below.
