10 Reasons Brock Lesnar Must Have A Long WWE Title Reign

9. His Eventual Defeat Means More

With Lesnar recently knocking off industry icons such as John Cena, Undertaker and Big Show, he has established himself as the most destructive force in professional wrestling. Why sacrifice such stellar booking to this point for the sake of hot-shotting the title back to Cena or to someone else when there is so much potential for Lesnar to not only run with the title for an extended period of time but for the man who finally beats him to enjoy unprecedented popularity and success as a result? After all, with such effective booking, fans already perceive to Lesnar to be the equivalent of the unstoppable force and immovable object combined so why not capitalize on it? Whomever proves himself good enough to defeat Lesnar and take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from the assassin-like Superstar will be made for life, a win over the Beast Incarnate building good will with a fan base desperate to see the part-time, money-hungry oppressor dethroned. In an era in which movie theaters are jam-packed with men, women and children of all ages to see the heroes overcome the seemingly unconquerable baddie, it would seem quite obvious why WWE should book a long reign for the new champion. Establish the villain by putting him over as strong as possible so that when the hero arrives to save the day, he looks that much better for doing what no other man was able to. It is comic book 101 as much as it is pro wrestling 101 and for WWE not to see that would be a huge booking misstep and the waste of one of the biggest money-making angles they could produce. Speaking of money...
