10 Reasons Christian Deserves WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

1. The Retirement He Deserves

When Edge retired, it was a tearful, bitter-sweet affair that no-one could have seen coming. Just the night before, he defended and retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania, and there were no signs pointing towards an injury or retirement. Regardless, Edge was forced into an early retirement due to persistent neck problems that had plagued him for years. Viewers around the world shed a tear as Edge poured his heart and soul out on Monday Night Raw, and they realised they€™d seen the last match he€™d ever wrestle. Christian on the other hand, didn€™t get anything close to that, and for months people have been waiting for him to come back. His early 2014 feud with Sheamus was the most exciting he€™d been in a few years, and many couldn't wait to get that version of Captain Charisma back. Unfortunately, as was revealed during Raw, Christian retired quietly a while ago and with very little fuss. While it€™s in fitting with a man who is by all accounts very private, the career that he€™s had deserves celebrating on as large a stage as possible. That€™s the biggest reason why Christian should go into Hall of Fame, to give his fans a proper chance to say goodbye. He€™s given his all to wrestling for so many years, and now it€™s time for his Peeps to give him the thanks he deserves.
