10 Reasons Christian Deserves WWE Hall Of Fame Induction
2. He Proved Vince Wrong
Its an unfortunate truth in professional wrestling, but more often than not when a tag team breaks up, no matter how successful both men are, one will constantly outshine the other. The second man in this scenario is often referred to as The Jannetty after Shawn Michaels partner in The Rockers, Marty Jannetty. Christian seemed like he may fall into that mold, as he was always great, but WWE and Vince McMahon never wanted to take a chance on him the way they did with Edge. In 2005 he declined to re-sign with the company and instead headed to the fledgling Total Nonstop Action promotion where he became one of their biggest stars. While in TNA, Christian was constantly in the main event and even won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions. He returned to WWE in 2009 with renewed confidence that he was main event material, and in 2011 he won the World Heavyweight Championship twice, silencing his critics that said he'd never be more than a midcarder in WWE. There arent many people in the wrestling industry that can claim they proved Vince McMahon wrong, but Christian believed in his ability and it took him to multiple World Championships. The last thing left for him to do now is take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame.
