10 Reasons CM Punk Vows Never To Make WWE Return

4. He Believes He's Destined For Greater Things

CM Punk is an ambitious man, he chases down opportunities and aspires toward bigger things. That was evidenced by nearly every move in his career. The first thing he ever did in wrestling was promote his own backyard shows, turning a small profit in the process. He ended up becoming a great wrestler, but he's also evolved into a great businessman. One ultra smart move was retaining ownership of his CM Punk trademark. Another clever thing he did was learning production techniques from Paul Heyman in the OVW days. He also got experience of being a wrestling trainer when with Ring Of Honor. All in all, he's a vastly qualified guy, he's able to set his mind to an array of vocations. With this in mind, Punk probably feels like he genuinely doesn't need wrestling. As he said himself in a recent tweet, "Starting a band, a podcast, and a fire. One of these is true. (Okay, two)." There has even been speculation that Punk might try his hand at MMA. A jump to the UFC octagon seems improbable, but it would certainly appeal to UFC President Dana White's sense of promotional opportunity. Whatever happens, the former WWE star probably figures he's got enough new gigs to see him through life. He has already got plenty of presenting work and media spots. From his perspective, he's much too busy to ever consider wrestling again.
