During Punk's discussion, it was very obvious that he has some issues with Triple H. Actually, it feels more right to say that Triple H wasn't a huge Punk fan. It's interesting because there have always been stories about people in WWE that weren't big supporters of Punk. He often spoke about how he had a good relationship with Vince McMahon, so clearly it was Hunter that had a problem with him. Punk also made it a point to mention the meeting with Vince and Hunter on his last day. He specifically told Hunter that he didn't really want to work with him. Punk also brought up how much it upset him three years ago when Hunter didn't put him over. That was right after Punk had won the WWE Title, then lost it after Kevin Nash cost him and Hunter actually beat Punk in a singles match even Hunter was a part timer in 2011. It wasn't necessary and it didn't lead to anything else. It shouldn't have happened. When one of the most important guys in the company (Triple H) has problems with you that are silly, it's easy to understand why Punk would want to leave an atmosphere like that. Nobody wants to be somewhere where they don't feel welcome. If Punk was liked by Triple H more he'd probably still be working there although we'll never know for sure.
