10 Reasons CM Punk's Legal Attack On WWE Was A Mistake

2. WWE Will Sue CM Punk For Breach Of Contract

The biggest reason CM Punk shouldn't have threatened WWE is because the company surely have a bigger complaint against him. It wasn't WWE who broke their contract with Punk - it was the other way around. He was the man responsible for walking out on his job and therefore breaching his contract. So how can he then turn around and expect the terms of that contract to be honoured? If you the reader stopped showing up to work, do you think your boss would continue to pay you? Of course not. Punk's demands for royalties, when he failed to turn in for work for the final six months of his contract, is baffling. He must know that WWE are likely to turn his threat right back around with a threat to sue for the time he missed. This whole 22 page letter looks primed to backfire on Punk. You can understand his frustration at being the feature mode in WWE 2K15, but that was developed way before his contract expired. The case Punk's legal team put together is riddled with problems. That leads us to our final point...
