He is originally from Aberdeen, Washington, but Seattle is the nearest major city and has always been considered his home turf. Accordingly, his reactions have always been huge when appearing in the arena. As a supporter of the local Seattle sports teams, and as a local boy done good himself, his celebrity status in the area is well known. He's one of them, and returning in the city for a hometown pop is as good a route as any for his WWE return.
