10 Reasons Daniel Bryan Will Not Be WWE Champion After SummerSlam

8. Injury Concerns

Of all the reasons Daniel Bryan could possibly lose the title, this one seems the most likely. He was recently sent back to the doctor who performed his surgery to be reevaluated, and initial reports indicate that his recovery is not progressing as well as company officials had hoped. It has already been announced that if Bryan is unable to compete at Money in the Bank, the ladder match will be for the World Heavyweight Championship. Some believe that there is significant pressure on Bryan to work the event, even if he is not fully recovered. There are three possible outcomes regarding Bryan€™s neck injury. The first is that he magically heals in less than a month and competes at Money in the Bank. The second option is that Bryan is simply unable to compete and relinquishes the title. The final, and most worrisome, option is that Bryan decides to rush himself back and further aggravates the injury. Either way, it seems like he has a two out of three chance of dropping the title.
