When Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank contract the night after Westlemania 29 last year, he was still technically a heel. The crowd reaction to his entrance music would prove otherwise, though. The crowd adored him, and were going crazy for him to finally capture the World Heavyweight Championship. There have been few crowd reactions like that in modern WWE, much less for someone who is a heel. It is comparable to the reaction CM Punk got at the Money in the Bank PPV in Chicago in 2011. After turning face against Alberto Del Rio at Payback 2013, where Del Rio also turned heel, and falling significantly down the card, Ziggler still gets fantastic crowd reactions, usually garnering one of the top three reactions at WWE house shows all over the world, according to various websites. As was previously referred to, Ziggler's promos and ring work currently as a face are second to none, and his work as a heel before that was also top-notch (see his feud with John Cena in late 2012). Regardless of what persona/character he is portraying, he always delivers and plays the character to perfection, which is why the WWE Universe buy into him and support him so steadfastly.
