6. Time Splitters
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jbClxHfRb0 Discerning fans of Western professional wrestling know exactly who Alex Shelley is, and exactly how great he is at tag team wrestling, but they may not be aware of his new team. In 2012, he was saved by KUSHIDA from a post-match beatdown at the hands of the Forever Hooligans, and have been teaming as the Time Splitters ever since. KUSHIDA has been a star in New Japans Junior Heavyweight division for a while now, and had an incredible series of matches with Prince Devitt (WWEs Finn Balor) for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Hes also seriously committed to the Time Splitters gimmick, wearing a Marty McFly bubble vest and at last WrestleKingdom, the team came out in a Delorean. In many ways, Forever Hooligans (Alex Kozlov & Rocky Romero) are the Time Splitters ultimate rivals, and the pair of teams have been battling over the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship for nearly three years. The two teams have been the foundation for a resurgence in the Junior Tag Team division, which all culminates at WrestleKingdom. At Power Struggle in November, Time Splitters lost their titles to Ring of Honors ReDRagon (Kyle OReilly & Bobby Fish), and Bullet Clubs Young Bucks have been itching to get the titles back as well. On January 4th, all four teams collide in what could very likely be one of the most exciting matches in recent memory.
