10 Reasons John Cena Will Be Missed At WrestleMania

5. A Reliable Story

The worst wrestling matches are the ones that don't mean anything, that have been thrown together not because of a blood feud between two competitors or someone's desperate desire to get their hands on a championship, but because WWE needs to fill a spot on the card. These matches might be fine from a technical standpoint, but they lack the emotion that is present whenever wrestling is at its best. John Cena is never used to fill a spot on the card. If he has a match, you know it is an important one. It will have been built up and it will have more than just a snazzy video package to convince people that they should watch it. You could argue that it shouldn't be this way. That whether you are John Cena or Heath Slater, if you are wrestling at WrestleMania you should have the writers supporting you, but that's not the way things work. If Cena was on the card, at least we'd be looking at a match that was more than simple filler.
