10 Reasons We All Love WWE's Hell In A Cell Gimmick
2. The Cell Is Part Of The Legacy Of Hall Of Fame Careers
When you think about the Hell in a Cell competitors, four names jump out at you: The Undertaker, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley. Two are already WWE Hall of Famers, and the other two are well on their way. Taker and Triple H have appeared in more Cell matches than anybody else. Shawn Michaels was part of the very first Cell match and also had a 45-minute classic with Triple H at Bad Blood 2004. As previously mentioned, Foleys career as an all-time great was cemented by his performance at King of the Ring 1998, and his Cell match with Triple H at No Way Out 2000 was extremely underrated (probably because it was supposed to be Foleys retirement match and he came back a couple weeks later). Randy Orton, another future Hall of Famer, is slowly building a reputation as a Cell competitor, as his match with Cena this Sunday (if he isnt too injured to compete) will be his fifth, which ties him with CM Punk for third-most Cell appearances.
