10 Reasons Money In The Bank Was WWE's Best Show Of The Year
1. The 3-2-1 SummerSlam Setup
Money in the Bank was undoubtedly an incredible show and by far the best top-to-bottom event it has put on in recent memory. However, the single best thing about it was what it means for the future.
Predictions of WWE leading to a three-way meeting between Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam have all but been confirmed with Ambrose's maiden WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory. It's a match that seemed destined to happen no matter the outcome at MITB, but WWE deserves plenty of kudos for how the pieces have been put in place.
The setup for the impending SummerSlam main event has written itself due to some incredibly wise booking. As Seth Rollins was victorious over Roman Reigns in somewhat surprising fashion, he is now a two-time WWE Champion and has proved he can beat Roman one-on-one. Following Ambrose's victory, you've got a three-time champ against a two-time champ against the one-time and reigning champ.
Now all we need is all three men to be drafted to the same show and we've got an instant classic on our hands.
