The main event of Ring of Honor's Final Battle 2012 was a Ladder War between friends and tag partners turned enemies Kevin Steen and El Generico for the Ring of Honor World Championship. In February 2015, friends turned enemies Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn fought for the NXT Championship. For a wrestling product that's shown exclusively on the independent wrestling adoring internet, the idea of headlining a show with two people who have proven to be a draw in this market before makes sense. As well in NXT we've seen New Japan juniors Prince Devitt and PAC fight as Finn Balor and Adrian Neville, plus Samoa Joe and Owens fighting for the first time since in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in 2005.
