6. Viable New Opponent For Brock Lesnar
By beating Randy Orton at Hell In a Cell, John Cena earned his third successive title bout with Brock Lesnar - the dominant, reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Since the Beast Incarnate won the belt from Cena at SummerSlam, he hasn't been able to find another worthy opponent. The WWE's injury list currently plays host to several top babyface stars, including Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns, leaving a dearth of challengers for Lesnar. Although Orton will not immediately move into a feud with Lesnar, he is certainly an instantly credible opponent to square off with the most intimidating Paul Heyman Guy. Given the fact that Lesnar is likely to have a lengthy, impressive championship reign, he will need a series of challengers with the clout to provide a believable threat. Few stars can boast that level of credibility within the industry, but Orton is certainly one of them and it seems inevitable that he and Lesnar will butt heads at some point during the Viper's newest babyface run. The WWE has booked itself into a corner by portraying Brock Lesnar as an almost unbeatable monster heel. Turning Randy Orton into a babyface is a neat way to paper over that issue for the immediate future.
