10 Reasons Randy Orton's Slow Face Turn Is Best For Business

3. New Top Babyface

As we discussed earlier, WWE is currently suffering from the fact that it has lost a number of its top babyface acts. CM Punk walked out of the company after the Royal Rumble, Rey Mysterio hasn't been seen on TV for months, Daniel Bryan's future is currently looking very sketchy indeed and Roman Reigns is on the shelf recovering from a hernia. This has created a real problem for WWE Creative, who have been forced to lean on the reliable work of John Cena once again whilst continuing to build Dean Ambrose as a future main event face. The addition of Randy Orton to this field, though, makes things very interesting. Orton can immediately be plugged into a main event program, in order to allow Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt's feud to percolate and develop outside of the spotlight. Above all else, moving Randy Orton across the roster freshens up the landscape. It's an opportunity for stale match-ups to be abandoned and for new combinations of allies to form. The babyface wing of WWE desperately needs something new and Randy Orton could well represent that.
