10 Reasons Randy Orton's Slow Face Turn Is Best For Business
4. Reinvigorated Character
Randy Orton is currently a very stale heel indeed. He has been a stoic, taciturn member of The Authority for well over a year and has failed to make an impact since triumphantly unifying the company's two world title belts at TLC 2013 in December. His promos have been slow, methodical and boring, which is a criticism that could also be applied to many of his matches. Alongside Kane, Orton has served as a bit of a whipping boy for Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns following the split of The Shield and Seth Rollins' heel turn. As a babyface, though, Orton's character looks set to become fresh once again. Due to the fact he is working against the Authority, combined with the popular RKO vines, Orton will be one of the more over babyface acts in the company. His character will be free of the shackles of the Authority stable and able to embrace the crowds who have been wanting to cheer his animosity with Rollins for several months. This is the shot of adrenaline in the arm that the Randy Orton character has desperately required for a long time. Orton is ready to be a babyface star and the WWE Universe is ready to greet him as one.
