10 Reasons Randy Orton's Slow Face Turn Is Best For Business

2. Fresh Rivalries

It will have become apparent to anyone watching WWE product in recent weeks that there's not much imagination going on at the top of the card. Every week, it seems that the Raw main event is some iteration of multiman match involving the same half a dozen performers. The sides line up roughly the same every time and, nine times out of ten, the screwy finish and post-match shenanigans are just as predictable. However, Orton as a face creates some new rivalries and alliances instantly. It seems likely that he will work his way through the various members of The Authority, starting with Mr Money In The Bank, and possibly even ending with the boss himself - Triple H. There's also real intrigue to seeing him lining up alongside the likes of Dean Ambrose and Cena in tag team contests. As a babyface, there's also the opportunity for some interesting Orton work in the upper midcard. He and Cesaro have had excellent matches in the past and there's also the possibility that he could take on Bray Wyatt once the Eater of Worlds has finished with Dean Ambrose. It would also be genuinely intriguing to see Orton in the ring with Rusev, who has yet to take a clean loss in his WWE career. And, of course, he won't be wrestling Cena for a while. That's terrific news.
