John Cena has been WWE's main event guy for ten years now, is it any wonder that his numbers aren't quite as hot as they once were? Older fans have been fatigued by him for a long time. His younger fans are what has kept him going, but even they are starting to grow up into jaded teens. Think about it, a ten year old kid who loved Cena at the start of this decade, that same kid is now approaching sixteen. Cena's fanbase are growing up and moving on from the phenomenon of Cenation. There are of course always new kids coming along, but maybe they're going for Roman Reigns nowadays. He's young and looks like a superhero, you can see why a new generation of kids would buy into him over Cena.
