10 Reasons Roman Reigns Will Win WWE Royal Rumble 2016

5. Replicating Cena

WWE's aim with Roman Reigns is to make the new John Cena. The only way to do that is through major wins on big stages. History always repeats itself, and if you go back to Cena's formative years in the championship spot, victory was what defined him. Indeed, Cena's first title run lasted 280 days. He was only without the belt for 21 days, then held it for another 133 days. His third reign then lasted over a year, going 380 days, only ending due to injury forcing him to vacate the belt. In replicating Cena, the formula is simple; put Reigns over. The Royal Rumble is just another impressive obstacle for him to overcome, another way to make this title reign seem prestigious. Reigns' first run with the belt lasted mere minutes, and his second run needs to show staying power. One month won't do, and if WWE want to replicate Cena (which they do) then Reigns must win at the Rumble and establish himself as a dominant champion.
