10 Reasons Sheamus Is The Right Choice To Be WWE Champion

1. A Peak Run

Sheamus is approaching thirty eight years of age and has been on the main roster for five years. Next year should really be his peak year, a time in which he is at full maturity and benefiting from over a half decade of top tier experience. By the time 2017 rolls around, he'll be nearer forty, which will inevitably be the start of his phasing out from WWE. With that in mind, 2016 is very much his last big year with WWE, with the company looking to get the best out of him at his absolute peak. It comes back to extracting value out of a wrestler they've invested a lot in over the past half decade. He's been elevated tremendously by the championship win and is now primed for the biggest year of his career, a year in which WWE are hoping he'll be a foil for making Roman Reigns.
