10 Reasons Sting Is Winning Seth Rollins' WWE Title At Night Of Champions
9. Sting Isn't Losing His First Two WWE Matches In A Row
This is a big point. After fourteen years of resisting signing with WWE, did WCW's biggest icon really get on board to lose his first two matches? It is almost unthinkable that he'd sign with WWE just to be a loser. It doesn't make sense for WWE to depreciate the commodity of his icon status by having him job to Triple H and then job to Seth Rollins. He needs a win, otherwise he is a year in with WWE and still to taste victory. That doesn't exactly set him up as valuable for next year's WrestleMania. At this point, he simply needs to win in order to rehabilitate the damage done by losing to Triple H at Mania 31. Another loss is going to be like career suicide.
