10 Reasons That Prove Vince McMahon Is No Longer A Creative Genius

8. NXT Is Better Than RAW

For a while now, NXT has been considered the best WWE show to watch in terms of quality booking and storytelling. While it's certainly suffered a drop-off as of late due to the main roster promotions of stars like Finn Balor, Enzo & Cass, Bayley, and others, talent turnover is the nature of the beast given the mini-promotion's primary responsibility to develop new talent for the main roster. Also, the promotion of former NXT head writer Ryan Ward to SmackDown cannot go unmentioned.

Despite the consistent turnstile of talent (both in front of the camera and behind it), the show's storytelling has been significantly better than RAW or SmackDown and it is no coincidence that the one major difference is the lack of Vince McMahon's involvement in all things NXT.

Aside from calling up talent, the lack of Vince McMahon's NXT involvement is a huge reason why the Orlando-based show has often been considered the premier production of the WWE Network.

With Triple H in charge of NXT, it does provide hope for the main roster's future whenever the day comes that Vince McMahon is no longer involved in the creative process. But when Vince McMahon's involvement is a drawback to the production, a creative genius he is not.
