10 Reasons The Shield Will Inevitably Reform In 2015

10. WWE Almost Always Brings Back Most Factions

Just look at the lifespan of DX or NWO. Originally formed in 1997, D-Generation X had runs between then and 2000, from 2006 to 2007, from 2009 until 2010, and then the group even reappeared briefly in 2012 and 2015. NWO had a similar lifespan from 1996 until 2000 and then with comebacks in 2002, 2010, 2014, and 2015. WWE knows when it has struck gold and has no problem going back and mining factions like these when necessary. The Shield was certainly one of the biggest forces of any stable in the 2010s and beyond. With all three members still under contract with WWE and still in optimal health and relevancy, it would be a waste not to bring The Shield back sooner or later. The end of June will mark a whole year since Rollins turned his back on his comrades. A year in the world of WWE can feel like a lifetime. Enough time has certainly passed that a Shield return would be fresh and exciting.
