10 Reasons The Shield Will Inevitably Reform In 2015

9. There Are Too Many Rumors Suggesting It

As early as July 2014, Internet rumor mills began generating stories suggesting that WWE writers were priming Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns for a second go at The Shield in 2015. Given that the group's members had just gone solo about a month prior, it seemed far too soon to predict any kind of future. That didn't stop fans and professionals alike from speculating that this year's WrestleMania would be the stage in which The Shield would regroup. With Reigns and Brock Lesnar main-eventing the big show and Rollins still in possession of his WWE World Heavyweight title shot with his Money in the Bank briefcase, two former Shield members already had the propensity to be in the same place at the same time. While fans sat on the edges of their seats all night, Reigns and Rollins only deepened their rift. However, WWE isn't a company to ignore rumors. Perhaps all of these rumblings will be enough to push its writers to bring back The Shield.
