10 Reasons The Shield Will Inevitably Reform In 2015

5. There Have Been Too Many Heel Champions

Perpetual faces Daniel Bryan and John Cena both haven't been in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture since last summer. Since then, fans have endured the seemingly endless reign of the monster and machine Brock Lesnar. With Lesnar's very sparse live appearances schedule, the WWE World Heavyweight title has become an occasional strap seen quite rarely. Although it seemed like the plan was for Reigns€”who was being pushed as a face€”to become the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion, ultimately that wasn't in the cards. Now, after a solid seven-month reign from the destructive Lesnar, Rollins continues the streak as a heel after he claimed the title at WrestleMania 31. With The Shield reunited, Rollins could become the first face titleholder in practically a year. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which had taken on a different importance during Lesnar's reign, could once again return to its spot of prominence with a positive champ like Rollins representing it.
