10 Reasons The Undertaker Didn't Retire At WrestleMania 32

1. The Time Honoured Tradition

The time honoured tradition in the wrestling business is to do the job on the way out of the territory. Indeed, that was what Shawn Michaels did for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26.

In the old school tradition, and bearing in mind that 'Taker is the ultimate old school guy, he should now do the same for someone else. He should hand the baton to the next guy.

That's actually what happened at WrestleMania 30. Vince McMahon thought Taker was done, so Brock Lesnar was booked to go over. Remarkably, 'Taker's physical condition then improved. After barely making 'Mania 29, he was like a new man from 'Mania 31 to present.

But it can't go on forever. He'll be 52 by the time of WrestleMania 33. It will be his last opportunity to go out in the traditional way, which will probably mean losing to John Cena. Either that, or they go all the way and have Roman Reigns retiring the Deadman!

Whatever the situation, retiring on a loss makes more sense than retiring on a win. A hollow victory over Shane McMahon means nothing; it is no way for the biggest icon of WWE to bow out.
