10 Reasons Vince McMahon Is A Better Businessman Than Dana White
7. He Puts Others In The Spotlight
While Vince McMahon was a huge part of the Attitude Era on-camera, thanks in large part to the Austin-McMahon feud, he never overshadowed his workers. Dana White, meanwhile, sometimes derisively referred to as "The Baldfather" by fans, is more or less the public face of the UFC, or at least he was until Ronda Rousey came along and caught everyone's attention. Still, he's in the media more than any single one of his fighters, because he manages to be centre stage at every single UFC event. Think about that: imagine if Vince was the star of every show, if he showed up for a press conference after every RAW and made himself the centre of attention. Further, think about how the UFC wants to be seen on the same level as the NBA and NFL (going so far as to bring in uniforms for fighters). Do those league's respective commissioners outshine the players? Of course not! No one is paying to watch the guy in the suit, they pay to watch the players!
