10 Reasons Why AEW Is Still The KING Of Wrestling

8. The Energy Is Still Inimitable

Now, this isn't always a good thing - AEW Dynamite in particular is often too energetic for its own good - but AEW is the best promotion for delivering a pure adrenaline rush.

It's nonsense to state that AEW matches are all hypersonic rushes - Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega took their time to deliver a hate-fuelled classic at Forbidden Door, and they are accused, stupidly, of going too fast - but when AEW fancies putting on the burners, there isn't a promotion like it.

Wrestling is meant to be an emotional tour de force primarily - but it's meant to be exciting, too, and no other promotion just gets it like peak AEW.

Watching All In, you'd have to be dead not to squeal in delight when Jon Moxley, absolutely refusing to play into Orange Cassidy's mind games, stabbed him repeatedly in the back of the head with a fork like a psychopath in a bus station.

A Canadian destroyer executed for the pure hell of it, a concussive V-Trigger rampage, Sting diving off a balcony, Hangman Page killing Konosuke Takeshita in mid-air with a forearm, a mind-blowing blitzkrieg of a Young Bucks finishing sequence: AEW is a goddamn rush even when Tony Khan misses the point with a thousand subplots.
