10 Reasons Why People Who Hate WWE Hate WWE

7. The World (Wrestling Entertainment) Won't Listen

Stephanie McMahon spoke at the Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C. this week, at which she had the following to say:

We’re taking feedback in real time. Our audience tells us what they love, what they don’t like, and - worst - what they don’t care about.

This, obviously, is horsesh*t.

All but the most ardent loyalists retained their support of the Jinder Mahal push in the wake of Hell In A Cell, at which the joke ceased being funny. Even the Indian market hasn't responded to his WWE Heavyweight title run. Fans could not have made their support of Braun Strowman over Roman Reigns any clearer in 2017, and yet the Big Dog is going to WrestleMania - on the subject of which, Steph also suggested we have the power to alter plans for it. Somewhere, CM Punk smirked that trademark smirk of his.

The response to Titus O'Neil and his 'Worldwide' brand is muted. They don't care about it. And yet, corporate sponsors - the real driver of WWE content, in addition to Vince McMahon - impose RAW's third hour and the aimless filler that comes with it for monetary reasons which, while reasonable, feed the belly of the beast far more than they feed the imagination of the audience.

More examples to the contrary are so numerous that they aren't really required; Steph's statement stands alone as a blackly comic punchline in itself.
