10 Reasons Why RAW Is Quickly Becoming WWE's B-Show

9. Talking Smack Adds Considerable Value

SmackDown Live's post-show has been a major asset in terms of boosting the blue brand.

The combination of Renee Young and Daniel Bryan, as well as the unscripted, off-the-cuff promos conducted by the various talents has given SmackDown Live a leg up on RAW. The Tuesday night post-show provides a fresh opportunity for blue-branded talents to craft their own words and even their own backstories.

This type of creative freedom, once a staple to WWF programming, has been relatively nonexistent in modern-day WWE. With the promotion wanting to keep everything so homogenized and uniform, including verbiage on promos, the quality has suffered and many of the so-called superstars fail to get over. Talking Smack has returned a little bit of that freedom, and has given at least some of the responsibility back to the talents.

Although RAW produces an answer to Talking Smack known as RAW Talk, a lack of consistent scheduling - as well as an inability to match the Young/Bryan on-screen chemistry - makes RAW's post-show pale in comparison to SmackDown's.
