Thanks to April's Superstar Shake-Up, several former SmackDown-exclusive superstars were moved over to RAW and vice-versa. While SmackDown's done a decent job with their post-WrestleMania 33 acquisitions, RAW has struggled mightily with the talents the red brand recently acquired.

The most egregious examples of talents that have seemingly regressed since making the move back to RAW are The Miz and Dean Ambrose. The Miz, and real-life wife Maryse, experienced a career resurgence in 2016 thanks to incredible mic work on both SmackDown Live and Talking Smack, and was involved in a feature match at WrestleMania against John Cena & Nikki Bella. For Ambrose, he was the #1 draft pick of SmackDown Live last July and joined the blue brand as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Their careers have taken a big step backwards since switching back to RAW. Neither man has been presented as anywhere near the level of stardom they experienced on SmackDown as former WWE Champions.

Meanwhile, SmackDown's taken their new recruits of Jinder Mahal, Charlotte Flair, and Kevin Owens and have made them the focal points of Tuesday nights.
