10 Reasons Why RAW Is Quickly Becoming WWE's B-Show
2. SmackDown Provides Legit Opportunity
Shane McMahon has nicknamed the Tuesday night brand "The Land of Opportunity," and it seems to be a very appropriate title.
In under a year, SmackDown has promoted countless superstars that would not have had the same opportunity on RAW. This has allowed for a much fresher product on Tuesday nights and, by comparison, has made RAW appear extremely stale.
There doesn't seem to be many limits on the talents SmackDown is willing to take a chance on. Jinder Mahal is arguably the best example, but it's not restricted to the main event. Up and down the card, talents are getting more opportunities to show what they can do on the blue brand. The number of fresh faces that have become SmackDown regulars, and entertaining components of the show, really blows RAW out of the water.
Although SmackDown's been in a slump in recent weeks, it still feels like the fresher show. If Brian James and Ryan Ward can recapture some of the success it had during the months that immediately followed the brand split, RAW constantly looking into its rear-view, trying to avoid becoming WWE's unenviable B-show, could become the new norm.
