10 Reasons Why Roman Reigns Must Turn Heel At WWE Survivor Series

6. Dean Ambrose Can Go His Own Way

When Seth Rollins attacked his Shield brothers to join the Authority, the group was fractured - on one side stood Rollins, and on the other, brothers-in-arms Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. In the year and a half since the split, Reigns and Ambrose have stood side by side on many occasions, most recently in a war with The Wyatt Family. While it's a nice continuity nod to keep Reigns and Ambrose aligned, one can argue that the arrangement hasn't done much for "The Lunatic Fringe." He hasn't had many programs that haven't involved his Shield brothers in one way or another, and even in those, he's continually positioned as being less of a star than Reigns - he's either seconded his friend in Reigns's own battles, or simply kept Rollins occupied leading to his again-delayed showdown with "The Big Dog". With Reigns as a heel, Ambrose would be on his own - though there'd be a requisite feud with his former partner. After that, Ambrose could truly break out on his own merits without being tied to The Shield forever, establishing him as a longtime force in WWE.
