10 Reasons Why Roman Reigns Must Turn Heel At WWE Survivor Series

4. It Sets Up A Match With Ambrose At TLC

While a Reigns turn would let Dean Ambrose do his own thing, the two former friends would have to go to war first. Luckily for WWE, that war can carry the company through a period where John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and Randy Orton are all absent from programming. A TLC match between the two would be a show-stealer, potentially making up for the lack of star power on the card. And even when Cena and Lesnar return toward the end of the year, they'll likely have their sights set on the Royal Rumble match itself. The Ambrose-Reigns program could be blown off at the Rumble, with a new challenger established for Reigns the same night. Granted, these matches are equally possible if it's Ambrose who turns heel, but "The Lunatic Fringe," for all of WWE creative's inability to book him properly, has truly come into his own as a babyface. Sacrificing that for the sake of a quick feud seems like poor planning - especially when there's a better option on the table in a Reigns turn.
