Roman Reigns' performance has elevated every single moment of this run. After years of rejection from the crowd, seeing Reigns have them in the palm of his hand every time he walks to the ring is brilliant, but his commitment to the role has been exemplary.
The confidence he has in himself, from his promos to his reactions, is startling, especially when he used to stutter over promos or forget lines completely.
He feels like an entirely different person to the one that was universally hated and that is why this turn has been so succesful.
From the way he walks to the ring with authority, to the little, subtle facial expressions, his performance has been one of the best in recent memory. It is such a contrast to the rest of WWE's output that it stands out which means no one feels even close to his level.
The best example of this is his face to face promo with John Cena in the run up to SummerSlam this year. Think back to four years ago, when Cena eviscerated him on the mic. This time around, Reigns carried himself with such composure and swagger, that he felt on the same level, if not one higher, than John Cena.
