8. The Best Of The Beast

When motivated, Brock Lesnar is an attraction like no other in professional wrestling.

He wears a mischievous, impish grin in his best matches, because despite how many times he connects with it - and no one move has ever been so synonymous with one performer - his German suplex remains a disturbing gut-punch of a visual. Brock Lesnar is motivated for Sunday. He specifically requested to work Finn Bálor, knowing the slight, fiery performer is the perfect, most sympathetic breed of prey. He'll laugh in Bálor's face, too. It doesn't matter how outrageously ripped he is. What's the point of muscle when you've just had the wind knocked out of you? Again and again?

Lesnar is a performer of some range. He'll sell shock at Bálor's adrenaline-fuelled comeback, which might manifest after Lesnar first brutally cuts off a sling blade. Not quite sure on the logistics of that one, but Lesnar is so awesome when he gives even half a sh*t that he becomes fantasy booking clay. Bálor in a match like this must pick his spots, knowing that most don't get any - and Lesnar's history with diverticulitis is a route to Incredible Near Fall City, if arrived at by way of the Coup re Grace.

And actually touched on by a dismal commentary team.
