10 Reasons Why WWE Fans Should Get Over CM Punk Already
7. He Is Bitter
To follow on from the last point, CM Punk is clearly still very bitter about the way WWE treated him. Being made to work as many dates as he did while having a serious MRSA infection misdiagnosed as little more than a fatty deposit is something that takes a long, long time to get over. Again, this is not a criticism of Punk; having your employer not provide the proper care its employees deserve is a serious problem in any profession, especially one as physically demanding as professional wrestling. Whats worse is that Punk was severely overbooked at the time, even though WWE were fully aware that something was wrong. On top of the health oversight, CM Punk made it very clear he felt suppressed when he appeared on close friend Colt Cabana's podcast and detailed key backstage interactions. Punk felt stifled by WWE even after he became the company's top man, so it's no surprise that he would be bitter about it. That bitterness won't just disappear overnight and nor should it. The company sapped CM Punks love for professional wrestling to the point that he doesn't want to do it anymore.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
