10 Reasons Why WWE Fastlane 2016 Truly, Utterly Sucked
6. The Whole Show Was Predictable
If you're not a fan of professional wrestling for the wrestling itself, chances are it's the captivating storylines and sense of 'anything can happen' that keeps you coming back to get your fix of WWE multiple times a week. Great story telling is a vital aspect of sports entertainment. Fastlane did not feature great story telling; a number of the matches closed the door on developed rivalries and other feuds were not furthered. Everything happened just like it appeared it would, completely neglecting the sense of surprise a good wrestling show must bring to the table. The only real surprise of the night came when the team of Kane, Big Show and Ryback defeated the Wyatt Family, which is not the kind of surprise a lot of people wanted to see. The chance for some genuine shocks was presented at Fastlane and fans were left with a sense of fulfillment as they all passed by. All championships were defended, nobody debuted, the new guy won and the man everyone had already written down as the winner of the main event overcame his opponents - don't worry, rest assured we'll get to that one.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
