10 Reasons Why You Need To Respect The Miz

4. Miz & Mizdow

Though lacking the epic conclusion it truly deserved, the Miz and Mizdow angle is sure to be considered one of the funniest and most mutually beneficial of the decade.

Re-established as a Hollywood heel, The Miz was treading water without a significant storyline to sink his teeth into.

Similarly, Damien Sandow was on borrowed time doing an imposter gimmick that looked destined to see him impersonating a WWE Superstar on TNA Impact by the end of the year.

Bringing their delusional worlds together, Miz noted Sandow's impressive schtick, and employed him as his 'stunt double' to save him the effort of dirtying his hands in matches.

The surrogate opponent had been a well-worn trope by this point though, and the gimmick really took off when 'Mizdow' took on the role of an understudy too, doing all of Miz' 'stunts' on the arena floor as Miz took a kicking in matches.

The sight of Mizdow taking identical bumps, selling headlocks and throwing air fists on the outside got over huge, with The Miz arrogantly soaking up the cheers as if they were his own.

The beloved act lead them to brief Tag Title glory, but a tepid Andre The Giant Battle Royal split on the Wrestlemania 31 pre-show fell far short of justified expectations for the duo.
