7. The Wrong Man Won The Battle Royal
Anybody who watched the pre-show battle royal will tell you that only one man should have won: Damien Mizdow. The Miz's assistant and stunt-double finally turned on his mentor after months of abuse, settling the crowd alight and gathering an insane amount of support. Then the Big Show eliminated him and won. The ending was a huge anti-climax for everybody watching, especially those live who wouldn't have heard JBL's overly-obvious foreshadowing throughout the contest. His repeated claims that Big Show had no chance because "he's never won a battle royal in the WWE" made it an increasingly worrying possibility that the veteran was going to slowly steamroll his way to victory, especially as Cole and King's selected favourites such as Ryback and Cesaro fell by the wayside. Mizdow would have benefitted incredibly from a big win over a much larger foe, and unquestionably deserves more of a push than the ageing Big Show. Here's hoping he can carry the momentum he received from his face turn into the next few months.
