5. Lack Of NXT Representation
Only three of the current NXT roster made it to WrestleMania - Hideo Itami and both members of The Ascension - and all were eliminated in the pre-show battle royal in speedy fashion. With such a padded-out main card, some of the more talented members such as Itami, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Adrian Neville, and Sami Zayn could have been slotted into a couple of multi-man dark matches, with the tag title bout and battle royal fleshing out the main show. Admittedly, the following Monday night's Raw did feature the debut of Adrian Neville, but WrestleMania 31 will not be remembered as a particularly innovative one with regard to new faces breaking through. Hopefully the WWE's plans to incorporate these outrageously talented newcomers in the near future are creative and eye-catching enough to do them justice.
