9. Getting Triple H Some Heat

Triple H is too cool as a heel and, against Roman Reigns, he was getting all the cheers. He even threw in a DX crotch chop when beating The Big Dog up on Raw, for goodness sake. He was ending up as a babyface, with Reigns the default heel. That's not what WWE wanted, obviously. It isn't just Reigns failing, it is Triple H failing, too. He's meant to be over as a heel, not pandering to the crowd as a killer babyface. In correcting that, it made sense to spin Hunter off against Ambrose for a couple of weeks. With The Lunatic Fringe so over as a face it will reinforce the message that Hunter is actually a heel. Indeed, after demolishing Ambrose, Hunter will have a tonne of heat on him. The hope is that Reigns then comes back and fans will be happy to see him kick The Game's ass.
