10 Reasons WWE Champion John Cena Must Lose To Brock Lesnar At SummerSlam

2. It "Legitimizes" The Title

Daniel Bryan was certainly the fan's choice to be the top guy in the company, with John Cena being right up there with him, as far as loud reactions are concerned. Randy Orton, like him or not, remains a title contender as long as he stays over with his heel act. Batista, whenever he returns, will be a bigger star now that Guardians Of The Galaxy is a smash hit, and that can make him another big-time contender for the title. The three men who used to be members of The Shield are all rising stars who have huge futures ahead of them. Brock Lesnar is on a different level than all of them. With the way he is pushed in kayfabe, plus the mainstream media attention that he brings, plus the actual fear and devastation that he brings to the table, he is someone that can make the WWE World Title legit immediately. He's not "too small" or "too pre-packaged" or "too wooden" or "too soon", which are all labels that you see thrown around for the names mentioned earlier. He makes the title something to be cherished, and everyone on the roster will be forced to step up and try to compete with him, which is what you want out of your top guy.
