10 Reasons Why WWE Creative Is Nuts

7. Some Writers Probably Aren't Qualified

Wwe Deal We've all heard the stories about members of WWE's creative team lacking wrestling knowledge. They have hired many TV writers from the soap opera world that are skilled at crafting stories, but they don't know how to do it in the wrestling sense. That's where wrestling people like Vince McMahon, Triple H, Michael Hayes and others play a part in mixing in the soap opera angles in with the wrestling storylines. Some of the writers likely have wrestling knowledge, but shouldn't that be a requirement from ALL of them? What WWE has to consider is maybe cut back on the amount of writers they have or maybe put more former wrestlers in roles on the creative team. It's been known for the last year that Road Dogg joined the creative process and apparently has done a great job. It's nice to know that they're willing to have trust in a lifelong wrestler. A fan at home may think they know a lot about the business, but it's very unlikely that they have more knowledge then a guy that has lived it his whole life. There have to be others like Road Dogg that have an interest in that kind of job too. It would be nice if Paul Heyman was booking in WWE. He knows what he's doing. Most likely, he doesn't want the stress of the job ever again and that's certainly understandable because it's not an easy gig especially when you have a controlling boss above you.
