3. Hes Married To AJ Lee
AJ Lee is more than the current WWE Divas Champion. In April Mendez being married to Philip Brooks, every time AJ Lee wrestles, the uber-aware WWE Universe knows that they're seeing someone in a WWE ring with a direct connection to CM Punk. Thus, it's entirely possible that he could be watching his television at that very moment, and he may just hear that the WWE Universe still loves him. Yes, this is really pathetic. But, WWE's arguably made their own fanbase into pathetic, attention-seeking lap-dogs. We lost our minds when Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan became champions, but received minimal return on our emotional investment. There was that one time we bought all of the Zack Ryder merchandise too, then we watched it all get sat into a wheelchair and pushed off the side of a loading dock, then kicked in the nuts by Eva Mendes at Wrestlemania. We're a pathetic lot, and well, now we're just skipping along with AJ Lee hoping and praying that she'll lead us to the heart of CM Punk who will rise from his couch, scream "It's Clobbering Time," and burst through the HD Titan Tron like the Kool-Aid Man. Well, that's not happening, so we're just left aimlessly chanting our lives away.
