10 Reasons WWE Fans Need To Realise Dean Ambrose Is Not Main Event Talent
3. Lackluster Booking
The blame is not all Ambrose's.
Over the course of his two years as a singles act, WWE Creative has done him few favors. Remember the TLC match between him and Bray Wyatt from 2014, where he attempted to use a television monitor, only to have it blow up in his face because he was too damn stupid to make sure it was unplugged?
How about that time he was perceived as the leader of The Shield and the United States champion. Ambrose was supposed to be the brains of the organisation, the only singles champion that trio ever netted while still in existence. Yet, months went by without a title defense.
Then, when he was booked, he struggled against Big E and Mark Henry, leaving many to wonder what was so special about the former indy darling.
Then there are the many, many instances of sheer stupidity in which he continues fighting, despite clearly down and out. Sure, it was admirable after the first few times but at some point, fans begin questioning how big of an idiot one can be to continue enduring an a*s-kicking that could have easily been stopped.
Despite battling some of the top stars in the industry in some fairly high-profile matches, his greatest opponent has been WWE Creative.
